SF Heroes

Are there any authors out there that just inspire the hell out of you?  This man is probably number one on my list of childhood heroes:

ISAAC ASIMOV

This dude worked in his family's candy store as a child, started his career at Philadelphia Naval Air Experimental Station, became a professor in Biochemistry at Boston University's medical school, and then quit his academic research job to become a full-time science fiction writer.  He even coined the term 'robotics' with his early writings, WOW!  He died way too early due to an HIV infection.

I am hoping to do something similar with my life.  I just finished my PhD in Chemical Engineering December 2021 and now plan to work in the start-up sector for my 30s and 40s.  Hopefully by then I will have invented enough stuff and have enough money rolling in that I can focus on running my own bookstore and publishing my own horrific science fiction novels.

I have two novels currently in progress.  Stay tuned for some sneak peaks soon.  Cheers!
