fornicating Floridians

fornicating Floridians

with wildwood eyes

glinting transiently 

behind the cat tails

and overgrown lawns

feel free Floridians

to hide behind

your citrus barricades

and wooden gateways

retire tirelessly

on the big toe of America

sinking into 

the Atlantic swells

salinating your delusions 

of hierarchy

and the transfer 

of formidable knowledge
