frustrated mineralogist
I ponder
if your prized chunk
of porphyry
housed in a glass jar
on your office desk
would have sufficient weight
to bash your skull in
leaving purple
crystals of feldspar
canoeing like rafts
down the pooling trail
of your sludgy glazed
caramel apple blood
Eh...
the janitor's on vacation
I'd hate to have to clean
another sp-
"Yes sir"
I blindly blurt
still in line and row
