Chron's - original poem

chron's

bless me
with a shortwave
indigo light form
waterfalling
over my guts
intestines
all intertwined
billowed and puffy
pulsing
in painful
wavelike
syncopations
ballooning
in Iretan smelling
atmospheric
clouds of gas
beads of sweat
dribbling
down my neck
scatological
avalanches
ceramic monsoons
with each
painful
life depleting
push
I purge
the after-meals
of yesterday
the parts of earth
I stuffed inside
and got scared
wanting to run out
evading all the platforms
and organic moving parts
getting out swiftly
violently
amateurishly
in the nightmare hours
under hot shower
steams

layers - original poem

layers

all the different layers of earth
tortilla nacho white
jaundiced yellow citrine
fuzzy cat pink
paired with baby blue
surrounded by besieged khaki
under a molten
mocha brown cinnamon
sugar coated crust

ill lick each layer
as each one
of my personality's
masks unrfurl
falling hard
and hardening on the floor
garbage picked
by the lower middle class
trash picking king
and collected
in his basement hole
constantly
resurfacing
every couple of months
or years
or so

space commute - original poem

space commute

I'm sure
we haven't
we couldn't have
travelled that far
or I hope
we mustn't
but what defines fear anyways
but simple
serotonergic secretions
who needs em'
when the Milky Way's
outstretched arms
seem to embrace
an infinite assemblage
of rock monsters
conversing on metal plates
radioactive in glowy spins
and meteorite dragged
mobile homes
searching for something else
another locale
remember
The enforcement's near
no idling past 15 minutes
on the rain shadowed
playground lawn
yawning at daylight
built for communal play
in the differential equations
projecting us
deeper into space
all in a hard day's labor
space commuter

diamond dusted mirror - original poem

diamond dusted mirror

maybe my face
won't seem so repulsive
my features less unsettling
if i buy a diamond dusted mirror
from ancient times
so the portaled tarnished ghosts
can help me wash my hair
brush my teeth
and just tidy up
routine maintenance is tricky
having a soul trapped
in a time line different
than my bodily vessel

Piers Anthony Covers #1

Here's a list of 10 notable paperback covers from Piers Anthony - a famous fantasy and sci fi writer.

I have only read Mercycle by this author thus far, but hope to dive into more of his works soon.  I will likely leave the Xanth series for last since there are so many of them and I have heard people give less than stellar reviews.

I am holding out until after I read Chthon since I have heard that book was lovely.
